TEMPORARY traffic lights will be going up on a main Stourbridge road as well as a string of other roads in the town this week.
There will be lights on Racecourse Lane in Norton from the junction of Fairways Avenue to Norton Road from tomorrow (Tuesday March 5).
The lights will be operating from 9.30am until 3.30pm and will be in place while work to overhead cables is carried out by BRSK.
Temporary traffic lights will also go up on Vicarage Road in Wollaston tomorrow (Tuesday) and will run until Thursday (March 7), from outside no.120 to no.96.
They will be operating from 9.30am till 3.30pm while BRSK carries out work.
Temporary lights are also operating in Whittington Road in Norton at its junction with Broadway from today (Monday March 4) until next Monday (March 11) while Cadent Gas carries out work to replace gas mains.
In Poplar Crescent, Norton, lights are operating from the junction of Heath Farm Road to outside no. 11 Poplar Crescent from today (Monday) for four weeks until Friday March 29.
They will be in place to allow Cadent Gas to carry out work to lay new pipes.
In Norfolk Road, Wollaston, temporary lights will go in today (Monday) and will operate until Wednesday (March 6) while Severn Trent Water carries out repair and maintenance work.
