HAIR and beauty salons and professionals from across the Stourbridge, Dudley and Halesowen areas have been shortlisted for top industry awards honouring the best in the business.

A raft of businesses across the Dudley borough have been selected as finalists in The English Hair & Beauty Awards 2024: Chapter 4 which will be held on Sunday April 28 at Colwick Hall Hotel, Nottingham.

Members of the public nominated their favourite stylists and salons with more than 60,000 votes cast, so this year’s awards have been split into four chapters – award co-ordinators Creative Oceanic confirmed.

Chapter 4 will spotlight top salons and beauty professionals from the Midlands and East of England.

The awards, which were first launched in England 12 years ago, honour those who consistently work hard to raise the standards within the industry while making sure every customer walks away having had a memorable experience.

Retreat Day Spa, based at the David Lloyd Centre in Brierley Hill, Dudley, is one of the finalists in the Spa Off the Year category.

Donna Davies, from Retreat Day Spa, said: “We are so grateful for our customers for putting us forward for this award! We love our job and helping people feel better.”

A spokesperson for awards said the accolades champion those who have “shown excellent commitment to customer satisfaction and have changed the industry’s landscape by introducing innovative treatments and services, building extremely close and trusted relationships with their clients” and they added: “We congratulate all the finalists for their remarkable achievements and wish them the best of luck.”
