A man has been arrested after police found a knife in his pocket.
Brierley Hill Police said the driver made off in his car when he spotted officers and the occupants of the vehicle quickly decamped.
Officers managed to detain a man and they found a knife in his pocket.
Further checks showed the man was also wanted for another offence involving a large disorder, assault and weapons.
He was arrested and the car was seized.
A spokesperson for Brierley Hill Police said: "This car made off from us, and occupants decamped. We detained a male where we found a knife in his pocket.
"Further checks showed he was wanted for another offence involving a large disorder, assault and weapons. He was arrested and the car was seized."
