Police have recovered a stolen car after it was found abandoned in Cradley.
Brierly Hill Police said they spotted the grey Jeep being driven carelessly in Lye during the early hours.
Despite pursuing the vehicle, the driver failed to stop and later abandoned the car in Cradley.
Officers said that when they contacted the registered keeper, she had not even realised the car had gone missing.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a spokesperson for Brierley Hill Police said: "This vehicle failed to stop for us in the early hours after we saw it driving carelessly in Lye. We found it abandoned in Cradley.
"When we contacted the keeper, she hadn’t even realised it had gone missing. The vehicle has been recovered."
