A STOURBRIDGE church will once again be hosting a hustings event giving voters chance to hear from the town’s General Election candidates ahead of polling day.
Churches Together in Stourbridge will be hosting the event, which will take place at St Thomas’s Church in Market Street, Stourbridge, on Wednesday June 26.
Rev Andrew Sillis will chair the event, which will start at 6.30pm.
A spokesperson for Churches Together in Stourbridge said: “All candidates have been invited and the hustings is a public event, all are welcome.
"The format will be to give each candidate a couple of minutes to introduce themselves, then questions asked from the floor.
"Again each candidate will get the chance to answer, the chair will decide whether to allow supplementary questions. At the end each candidate will get a couple more minutes
to summarise and pick up on anything said by other candidates."
The candidates for the Stourbridge constituency are: Suzanne Webb (Conservative Party), Cat Eccles (Labour Party), Chris Bramall (Liberal Democrats), Stephen Price (The Green Party), Mohammed Ramzan (Workers Party of Britain) and Richard Shaw (Reform UK).
