STREETS in the town centre will be closed this weekend while the Stourbridge Carnival and Black Country Music Festival event takes place.
The event, which runs on Sunday July 7 from 11am till 5pm, will bring vintage vehicle displays, dance, karate performances, and singing at the clock.
There will be a variety of stalls and fun fairground rides along the High Street, Market Street, and Talbot Street.
High Street, Market Street, Lower High Street, Duke Street and Coventry Street will be closed to traffic from 6am till 8pm.
The extent of the restriction will be:
High Street, Stourbridge from the junction of St Johns Road, to the junction of Market Street.
Market Street, from the junction of High Street, to the junction of Bell Street.
Lower High Street and Crown Lane from Bath Road to the exit of Tesco car park.
Duke Street from St Johns Road to the junction of Coventry Street.
Coventry Street from 35 Lower High Street to the junction of St Johns Road.
A spokesperson for Dudley Council said: "All vehicular traffic will be diverted via: St Johns Road, New Road, Bath Road and Bell Street.
"The restriction is required to safely facilitate the Stourbridge Carnival & Black Country Music Festival event."
