NEW food hygiene ratings have been handed to five takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The Rock Fryer on Hill Street, Brierley Hill was handed a five rating on June 13.
Falaf & Halloumi at Market Place, Dudley, was rated four on May 29.
Kent's Tuck Inn at The Arcade, Upper Gornal, Dudley was rated four on May 29.
Golden Boat at 129 Bridgnorth Road, Wollaston, Stourbridge, was rated one on May 29.
White Horse Grill at New Street, Quarry Bank, Brierley Hill, was rated one on May 29.
It means that of Dudley's 270 similar establishments with ratings, 116 (43%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
A hygiene rating of 0 means urgent improvement is required; 1 means "major improvement is necessary."
A 2 star rating means "some improvement is necessary", while 3 star means "hygiene standards are generally satisfactory" and 4 star means "hygiene standards are good."
A 5 star rating means "hygiene standards are very good."
