A Hagley care home has celebrated the 100th birthday of a resident.
On Wednesday (July 10) The Gables Cinnamon Care home threw a party for Eric Bowers, now the second centenarian living at the facility.
Mr Bowers, who was born and raised in Surrey, lives at the home with his 96-year-old wife Evelyn.

He trained as a doctor in London, and later served in the Royal Army Medical Core.
In 1960, he transitioned to the Dudley & Stourbridge Hospitals Group, where he worked as a consultant pathologist-biochemist.
Mr Bowers started one of the first renal units at The Wordsley Hospital and played a key role in opening the Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley.
Julie Weaver, senior general manager of the care home, said: "We were delighted to be part of such a special day and enjoyed a champagne reception for Eric’s friends and family.
"Reaching 100 years old is such a wonderful milestone to celebrate."
Mr Bowers' near-76-year union with Evelyn has produced two children, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
