SCHOOL and college leavers are invited to attend a special careers event later this month.
Dudley Council’s Connexions service is running a results day support session on Wednesday August 28 at Merry Hill in the lower mall outside Marks & Spencer.
From 10am to 8pm, students who have recently picked up their results can chat to Connexions careers advisors to discuss options and next steps in their training or education.
There will also be people from colleges and training providers available to talk to.
For more information and to register attendance in advance, go to https://connexionsdudley.org/careers-hub/
The session is organised as part of the Black Country Careers Hub, with the support of West Midlands Combined Authority.
Councillor David Stanley, Dudley Council's cabinet member for children and young people, said: "This session has been organised to support our school and college leavers as they prepare for the next step in their journey towards a career.
"It’s open to everyone, whether someone’s grades were higher or lower than expected or if they have changed their mind about their future choices."
