A ROAD in Stourbridge is now closed for five days so that repairs can be carried out following a water leak.
The transport and highway services team at Dudley Council has confirmed that Heath Street in the Old Quarter will be closed to traffic from Thursday, August 22, to Tuesday, August 27.
The works will be carried outside no. 48.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Heath Street will be closed from Thursday 22 August to Tuesday 27 August for emergency repairs to a water leak.
"Traffic will be diverted via Heath Street, Baylie Street, Worcester Street, Heath Street and vice versa".
