NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five Dudley borough restaurants and cafes, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

DY1 Coffee Shop at Stafford Street, Dudley, was rated five on August 8.

Starbucks Coffee Company at Unit 7a, Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill, was rated five on August 6.

Indiluxe at Audnam, Amblecote, Stourbridge, was rated five on August 5.

Takeaways:

Greggs at Waterfront West, Dudley Road, Brierley Hill, was rated five on August 6.

Jodie's Delicatessen at Brierley Hill Market Hall, High Street, Brierley Hill was rated four on June 18.

A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.
