POLICE, paramedics and firefighters attended a Stourbridge crash, which led to the closure of a main road.
The accident, involving three vehicles, happened on Ham Lane in Pedmore at around 2.20pm yesterday (Sunday September 15).
Police closed off the road while emergency services dealt with the scene.
One occupant of a vehicle was "medically trapped, due to a pre-existing medical condition" a spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said.
He said: "Crews from Brierley Hill and Stourbridge (two fire engines) attended.
"The incident involved three vehicles in collision on the roadway.
"One occupant of one of the vehicles was medically trapped, due to a pre-existing medical condition.
"After a full assessment from West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics, she was safely walked from the vehicle.
"The scene was made safe by fire service personnel.
"West Midlands Police also attended; they closed the roadway temporarily while the incident was dealt with and arranged recovery of the vehicle.
"The single patient was left in the care of paramedics."
