NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Dudley’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Lola's Loft at 89 High Street, Halesowen; rated on September 4
• Rated 5: Gigmill at South Road, Norton, Stourbridge; rated on August 22
• Rated 4: Top UKs Fried Chicken at 220 Wolverhampton Street, Dudley; rated on September 17
And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
• Rated 5: The Little Chop House at 74 Windmill Hill, Cradley, Halesowen; rated on September 4
Plus one rating for a takeaway:
• Rated 1: Cafe Pizzaccino at 104a High Street, Brierley Hill; rated on August 15
The ratings have been published on the Food Standards Agency’s website which rates businesses from zero to five so customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.
A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.
People can see the results of all food hygiene inspections across Dudley borough on the national ratings.food.gov.uk website.
