POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a boy was seriously injured in a crash involving a bike and a car in Brierley Hill.
Officers called to the junction of Brettell Lane and Hawbush Road, at around 2.15pm on Tuesday, September 3.
The 15-year-old boy was on a bike at the time of the crash and suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital and has since been discharged to recuperate.
West Midlands Police said a dark blue Mini Cooper left the scene, but officers have since identified a man suspected of being the driver. He has been interviewed and is assisting with their investigation.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Our enquiries into the collision continues and anyone who witnessed this is asked to get in touch via 101 or Live Chat on our website, quoting log 2895 of 3 September".
