SPECIALIST insurance broker for classic and cherished cars Footman James has opened its new office in Brierley Hill, creating 12 new jobs.
Founded in 1983, the company has established itself as a professional insurance broking service specialising in plans for niche markets and for 40 years it has had a continued presence in the Black Country.
The new office at Waterfront Business Park provides a modernised space that enhances operations for its 120 members of staff.
The extra space has also enabled the firm, which was previously based at Dudley's Castlegate Business Park, to create 12 new jobs for insurance advisors.
The investment in technology and people will also allow Footman James to provide a faster, more efficient service to clients, the firm said.
Jay Bayliss, senior head of contact centres at Footman James, said: “We are thrilled to have kept the business local to the Black Country. The new office represents Footman James’ commitment to growth and innovation while remaining grounded in the values that have made the company a trusted name in the classic vehicle community.
“This move enables us to continue to serve our clients with the same passion and expertise while introducing new technology to meet their evolving needs. Improved IT systems will streamline our processes, ensuring we can provide an even more responsive and efficient service. The increased size of the office has also allowed us to expand our teams, with the creation of 12 new jobs.”
