An abandoned car has been set on fire in Kinver.

In a post on social media, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue said they were called to an abandoned car which was well alight on arrival.

The crew wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

The incident was handed over to South Staffordshire Police. 

In the post, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “It's been a busy few days for #Kinver1 with a variety of fire and special service calls attended. 

“Recently, we were called to an abandoned car which was well alight upon arrival.

“The crew wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, before handing the incident over to our colleagues at South Staffordshire Police.”
