CLASSICAL music company Gig Caritas kicks off the concert season in style by performing with internationally acclaimed cello soloist Irena Josifoska.
Irena will be flying in from Berlin especially to appear with the Gig Caritas orchestra under the baton of renowned conductor Keith Horsfall on Sunday October 13 at Stourbridge Town Hall starting at 3pm.
She will be performing two of Dvorak's most popular pieces, Symphony No.9 in E Minor and the Cello Concerto in B Minor.
It's not the first time Irena has appeared in Stourbridge, having played the Elgar Concerto several years ago.
Tickets for the concert cost £15 and they can be obtained online at https://gigcaritas.net/events.
Once again, proceeds from the concert will be donated to a local good cause, this time going to Riverside House - an ambitious local project that links regeneration with mental and social wellbeing.
Since its formation, Gig Caritas has raised more than £60,000 for local charities.
