MERRY Hill has welcomed global lifestyle, technology, and home appliance retailer Harvey Norman which has opened its flagship and first-ever store in England today (Friday October 11).
The new outlet has taken up a significant portion of the former Debenhams space on the Lower Mall and includes a striking entrance atrium.
It features dedicated areas for each product category, including a cooking appliance centre, plus a range of in-store services including click & collect and Love Tech for technology set-up needs.
Harvey Norman’s range includes home appliances, technology devices and entertainment from well-known names such as Dyson, Shark, Apple, Samsung, LG, Miele, Sage and more; plus luxury furniture from sofas and dining sets to bedroom suites, mattresses and kitchenware.
Jonathan Poole, Merry Hill’s centre manager, said: “We’ve eagerly awaited the arrival of global home, lifestyle and technology retailer, Harvey Norman. They truly offer something for everyone, bringing a wide range of homewares, furniture and appliances in an exceptional store environment for our visitors to enjoy.

The opening follows the arrival of British performance sportswear brand, Castore, which opened a store on October 3 near Lush on the Lower Mall.
