A LUCKY couple from Dudley will be tying the knot at an historic venue next year after winning a free wedding ceremony.
Every couple who attended a recent open day at the Dudley Council-run Thomas Robinson building in Lye was given the opportunity to enter a free prize draw.
Lovebirds Zowie Jones and Gary Hackett from Dudley were randomly chosen by the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Hilary Bills, who drew their name out of the hat.
The couple will now be getting married in the grade II listed building next year.
Councillor Hilary Bills, Mayor of Dudley, said: “It was my pleasure to attend the open day and meet many of the happy couples who were looking at the stunning Thomas Robinson building as a potential venue for their forthcoming nuptials.
“Congratulations to Zowie and Gary for winning the free ceremony. I wish them all the very best for their wedding and life together.”
