A MAN has been charged with theft following an incident at a store in Brierley Hill earlier this week.
West Midlands Police have said that on Tuesday afternoon (October 15), a man attempted to steal a number of items from a homeware store in Brierley Hill.
The man was detained by security and officers were called to the scene.
Pavel Biskup, aged 28, from Netherton, was charged with theft and is scheduled to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court next month.
The force have said they are continuing to tackle retail crime as part of Safer Business Action Week.
Safer Business Action Week is a week of coordinated national action focused on local crime and ASB, that impacts on businesses and workers.
