The top player in the UK's fire and security sector has acquired a Stourbridge company in a £38 million deal.
Argus Fire is now a part of Mitie Group following the acquisition.
The company, boasting over four decades of experience, specialises in active fire protection systems and serves a clientele across various industries.

The company has been involved in some notable projects, including the installation of fire suppression systems at Battersea Power Station.
Jason Towse, managing director at Mitie, said: "The acquisition of Argus Fire brings deep technical capabilities and builds on Mitie’s position as a market leading provider of projects delivery, inspection and maintenance across a broad range of sectors in the UK fire & security market."
In the financial year ending March 31, Argus Fire generated £44.3 million in revenue.
Matt Lincoln, managing director at the Stourbridge company, said: "We are delighted to be joining Mitie.
"I am very proud of our team and look forward to joining forces with Mitie."
