STOURBRIDGE MP Cat Eccles will be holding a pensioners’ fair on Thursday November 7 with advice and support on offer for older people.
The event will run from 11am to 2pm at the Mary Stevens Centre, Hagley Road, Oldswinford, Stourbridge.
Representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions, WeLoveCarers, West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Police, Specsavers, the Stroke Association, Action Heart and other organisations will be in attendance.
Labour MP Cat said: “I am pleased to have a wide range of stallholders and representatives from local services, charities, and support organizations in attendance. They will be available to offer advice, answer questions, and provide assistance on various topics, including health and well-being, financial support, personal safety, and more. Plus, it’s a chance to enjoy a cup of tea and some company with neighbours.”
She said for those unable to attend a further event will be held in December.
