A long-serving director has retired after nearly five decades at a local firm.
Gordon Tibbetts, who joined Quinton-based Scriven and Company at 18, retired this month after 47 years of continuous service.
Starting as a school leaver, Mr Tibbetts gained his ARLA Level 4 qualification and eventually became a director in charge of the residential lettings and management department.
Despite his retirement, Mr Tibbetts will continue to work with the company as a consultant.
Irma Deeming, who was previously a director at another firm, has been appointed as the new director, taking on the role of practice manager and overseeing all departments.
Katie Johnson, having joined in 2018 and recently passing her ARLA Level 4 qualification, has also been appointed as an associate of the company.
