Police have launched an investigation following a series of vehicle thefts across Wombourne and Kinver.
South Staffordshire Police said they are working hard to ensure regular patrols are conducted to deter and detect the criminals responsible for these types of crimes and have issued some important advice to residents on keeping their vehicles safe.
Officers have urged residents to ensure their vehicles are locked and secure with no valuables left inside them.
They have also recommended additional security measures including trackers and steering wheel locks.
A spokesperson for South Staffordshire Police said: "We are currently investigating a series of vehicle thefts that have recently occurred in the Wombourne and Kinver areas.
"We are working hard to ensure regular patrols are conducted to deter and detect the criminals responsible for these types of crimes.
"Please ensure vehicles are locked and secure, with no valuables left inside - you may wish to consider adding other security measures to your vehicle such as trackers or steering wheel locks. For any keyless entry vehicles, please consider keeping your keys in a Faraday bag."
