A CELEBRATORY event was held to mark the opening of a new hearing hub in Stourbridge.

Audiology director Louise Fellows welcomed the community to the new offering at the new Specsavers store in the Ryemarket Shopping Centre.

Stourbridge MP Cat Eccles and the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Dudley, Councillor Pete Lee and wife Gloria, attended the launch to have their hearing checked and cut the ribbon.

The opening on Friday November 1 comes on the back of increased demand for hearing care in the area, with the hub offering services seven days a week.

Louise said: ‘It feels so rewarding to finally open our doors and help to support those with hearing loss across the local community.

"We have a great team on-hand to deliver the very best service, and we have all worked really hard to create a space to make people feel comfortable and reassured when they visit us.”

Louise works alongside Specsavers Stourbridge directors Jason Bridgewater and Terry Tam.

The store offers hearing checks, ear wax removal, guidance on hearing devices available and help with queries and concerns.
