THE FAMILY of a teenager who was stabbed to death in Solihull have paid tribute to him.
Police have now confirmed a 17-year-old who was fatally stabbed in Marston Green on October 29 to be Reuben Higgins.
In a statement released today paying tribute to Reuben, his “devastated family” said: “Reuben was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
“Life will never be the same without him.”
West Midlands Police have charged three teenagers with murder relating to the knife attack.
18-year-old Abdurrahman Summers has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow, November 9.
Two 15-year-old boys, who cannot be named due to their age, have also been charged with Reuben’s murder and possession of a bladed article.
Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, from West Midlands Police Homicide Team, said: “Reuben’s parents have been fully updated with the latest development and continue to be supported by specially trained officers.
“Our thoughts remain with his family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.”
