FOUR vehicles including an off-road bike and drugs were seized by police during a targeted operation in Dudley.

Officers from Brierley Hill Neighbourhood Team, traffic and West Midlands Police's off-road bike team conducted an operation to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area on November 7.

They seized four vehicles for no insurance or license including an off-road bike. A quantity of Class A and Class B drugs were also recovered.

Officers are also spreading the word among the community that they won’t tolerate anti-social off-road biking and are asking residents to play their part in preventing this by letting them know where, and when, it’s happening.

PC Luke Johnson from Brierley Hill Neighbourhood Team said: “We understand the impact anti-social off-road bikers cause in the community which is why we regularly conduct operations to tackle the issue.

“It’s disruptive and distressing and people often feel intimated by these riders. It’s also potentially very dangerous.

“We’ll take action wherever and whenever we receive reports of this anti-social behaviour from residents.”

If you have any information about bike-related anti-social behaviour in your community, report it online via the West Midlands Police website.
