Cat Eccles MP organised a Pensioners' Fayre for older residents of Stourbridge.
The event was held at the Mary Stevens Centre on Friday, November 8, was supported by WeLoveCarers and attended by numerous organisations.
These included Action Heart, the Dudley Stroke Association, Living Well Taking Control, ABL Health, Act on Energy, West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Police Service, and the Department for Work & Pensions.
Residents had the opportunity to undergo full health checks with blood tests courtesy of Action Heart and ABL Health alongside helpful literature and advice to guide residents to other forms of relief they may be entitled to.
A meet and greet session was also part of the event, allowing attendees to voice their concerns and urgent queries affecting older people.
Ms Eccles, the MP for Stourbridge, said: "I had a great time meeting residents and getting to know more people across the constituency.
"I wish to thank all of the invaluable local services for attending, and I hope to reconvene everyone back together for another Pensioners’ Fayre next month."
A second Pensioners' Fayre is slated to be held in Netherton in early December, with further details to be announced soon.
