A WARNING has been issued as experts try to find more rabbits in the Chaddesley Corbett wood.
A team of experts are out searching for more rabbits tonight (Friday, November 15) after 100 abandoned bunnies were found in the wood in Chaddesley Corbett earlier this week.
And now Shrewsbury Rabbit Rescue has urged people not to go into the woods trying to help tonight.
A statement released on social media said: "We know many of you lovely people are so keen to help us search, but we have a team of local search experts out there tonight equipped with thermal imaging.
"If the area becomes over-saturated with people, it will make their efforts much harder and that’s not what we want, time is ticking for these rabbits and we want them safely in our care as soon as possible.
"Please let the search team do their job to the best of their ability, stay at home and help us be more efficient with our efforts.
"Too much noise will disrupt everyone’s efforts and will not be helpful."
The bunnies found on Monday were described by users on social media to be in a “bad way'.
