COFFEE fans have celebrated the arrival of Starbucks to Stourbridge town centre.
The coffee giant has finally opened a store in the town, creating nine new jobs.
The new store, in the old Halifax unit in Stourbridge High Street, opened on Thursday (November 14) and features a simplified menu, streamlined bar area with relaxed seating and bookable space for customers wishing to hold a group study session or club meeting.
Shawn Devonport, regional operations manager, Starbucks UK, said: “We are delighted to open our new store in Stourbridge.”
To show support for local causes, the new store will be raising money for the Dudley Group NHS Charity at Russells Hall Hospital and High Oak Youth and Community Centre food bank as well as supporting Stourbridge’s Riverside House project by donating used coffee grounds to encourage healthy soil.
The store is open from 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm on Saturdays and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.
