A LANDMARK Clent pub has gone on the market.
The French Hen, in Bromsgrove Road, is being offered for sale with estate agents Colliers, with offers in excess of £750,000 invited.
Sales particulars describe the venue as “a charming Victorian detached period building”.
They add: “The accommodation is arranged over ground and first floor with delightful features throughout.
“At the front of the site, there is parking, with an additional facility at the rear, accommodating approximately 20 vehicles.
“The rear area also includes a lawned beer garden and a detached single storey stable block which is suitable for an array of uses, subject to the relevant planning permissions.”
The property, which is close to Hagley, Stourbridge and Halesowen and the M5 motorway as well as the National Trust’s Clent Hills beauty spot, includes spacious owner’s accommodation which is currently used as letting rooms and that an overflow car park is available via separate negotiation.
