WORDSLEY’S Community Christmas Tree Festival and Christmas Fayre is returning this week.
More than 65 trees will be on display at Holy Trinity Church in Wordsley High Street including trees decorated by schools, community groups, local businesses, local politicians and church groups.
The church will be open on Friday November 29 from midday until 5pm, Saturday November 30 from 10am until 5pm and Sunday December 1 from 11am until 2.30pm, and 4pm until 6pm.
Sue Haywood said on behalf of Wordsley Team Parish Parochial Church Council: “We are pleased that our Community Christmas Tree Festival and Christmas Fayre will be going ahead again this year.
“We have had a tremendous response from the community in respect of the displaying Christmas trees in church for the festival.
“There will be festive music and refreshments served throughout the festival and a warm welcome is extended to everyone.”
The Christmas fair will take place in the church hall on Saturday November 30 from 10am until 1pm, with refreshments available.
A Christmas Sunday Afternoon Organ Music session with renowned organist Paul Carr will take place on Sunday December 1 from 3pm until 3.45pm.
