A STOURBRIDGE man has pleaded not guilty to sending threatening messages via Facebook to two women.
Sean Soley, of The Broadway, in Norton, appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday November 28 charged with two counts of malicious communications.
The 38-year-old has been remanded on conditional bail to await a trial which has been scheduled to start at Walsall Magistrates’ Court on August 22, 2025.
Soley’s arrest at the start of the year sparked a call out of the Army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team on January 4 and the bomb squad was further called to the property on September 17 and these matters have been the subject of a continuing police investigation.
Meanwhile, a closure order applied for under the ‘Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014’ was granted by Dudley magistrates’ for 38A The Broadway on November 11 - banning Soley from returning to the property for three months.
