A WOLLASTON butcher's shop with 100 years history has re-opened this week.
Former Walter Smiths butcher Lawson Easthope and his pal - retired butcher Keith Boxley - have taken on the former Dulson's butchers shop in the village.
And they officially opened their new venture on Wednesday September 10.
To mark the opening, award-winning butcher Lawson, aged 47, has launched a competition to name a new sausage.
There is a hamper of meat worth £50 on offer for the winning entry.
The exact recipe is being kept a closely guarded secret, but Lawson says the main ingredients are blue cheese and apricots.
He is now encouraging News readers to put their thinking caps on and come up with a name for the new banger - which he hopes to enter into a competition judged by a celebrity chef later in the year.
The search for a new sausage name closes at midnight on Tuesday September 30.
Lawson will choose the winner.
