Residents from across Dudley borough are being encouraged to have their say on local health and social care issues.
The council’s Select Committee on Health and Adult Social Care ( HASC) meets regularly at the council house in Dudley to discuss and review the current operation of the NHS and adult social care within Dudley.
Dudley Council has the power to review and scrutinise the work of the NHS within Dudley. This happens via the select committee (HASC) where local councillors, council officers, together with members of the public are able to look at current issues and can make recommendations about how services might be improved.
The committee also looks at adult social care issues within the borough, as well as plans that the council has to improve the health of Dudley people.
The council is keen for the committee to reflect the views of local people and is encouraging people to attend the meetings.
The next one will be held on Thursday 18 September.
The next select committee (HASC) takes place on Thursday 18 September at Dudley’s Council House, Committee Room 2, starting at 6pm.
People interested in attending or wanting further information should contact democratic services at Dudley Council on 01384 815241 or email goodhealth.cexec@Dudley.gov.uk.
