A 33-year-old Stourbridge robber has been remanded in custody for reports to see if he poses the danger of future harm to members of the public.
Mark Timmins admitted robbing Gabrielle Smith of her purse and contents when he appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday September 11.
Timmins of Armstrong Close, was further remanded in custody by Recorder Mark Wall QC so he can be assessed for his “dangerousness.”
The Recorder told him the information was vital before the case could be finalised and he said it was expected sentence would be passed on Thursday October 2.
Gurdeep Garcha, defending, told the court it was accepted a lengthy custodial sentence would be passed on Timmins whose offending was drug related.
But he stressed there had been no physical contact with the victim of the robbery which was carried out last June and no weapon was involved.
