PEOPLE across the borough who have been affected by cancer are invited to a networking event which aims to explore ways of improving cancer care services.
Organised by The White House Cancer Support in Dudley, Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Greater Midlands Cancer Network, the day-long event will offer people the chance to share their experiences and discuss ways of improving cancer care.
Marilyn Meade-Brown, development co-ordinator for Macmillan Cancer Support, said they were particularly keen to hear from people who were not members of self help, support and user groups.
She added: “We know many people who've had experience of cancer, either as patients or carers, have important issues to raise about their treatment and care.
“This event will enable them to ask questions and share their experience and concerns in a supportive environment which will lead to improvements in care and support for future patients.”
The event will be held on Tuesday October 7 at Kingswinford Methodist Church, Stream Road.
