STOURBRIDGE Old Edwardian Club is planning a reunion for former pupils who attended King Edward VI Grammar School between January 1950 and December 1959.
The reunion, hosted by the club President Paul Thatcher, will be held at the club in Drury Lane (off Market Street) Stourbridge on Saturday September 27 at 10.30a.m.
After meeting for coffee in the club the “old boys” will visit their old school (now King Edward VI College) and be given a guided tour.
Mr Thatcher said: “Their visit to the college will be an opportunity to revisit their old classrooms and laboratories for the first time in up to 50 years as well as seeing the ultra-modern science blocks and other facilities.
“A few years ago we had a similar reunion and brought together former school pals many of who hadn’t see each other half a century and some of whom had travelled over 200 miles to be there.”
After visiting the college the reunion will continue with a buffet lunch in the club.
Any former pupils of the 1950s wishing to attend should contact the club on info@oldedclub.org or 01384 395635.
