Dudley council are appealing to businesses to help them keep the heat up on bonfire night.
They want firms to donate pallets for the borough bonfire at Himley Park on Saturday November 1, which is the largest council-run display in the country.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “The fireworks and bonfire display at Himley attracts around 25,000 visitors from across the region.
Only unbroken wooden pallets are wanted and not garden rubbish, tree trunks or old furniture.
Companies wishing to dispose of their pallets, who are able to deliver them to Himley Park, should contact Himley Hall & Park on 01384 817817.
