GLASS fans have only a few days left to catch a glimpse of Stourbridge’s British Glass Biennale exhibition.

The mammoth showcase of contemporary glass, staged at the Ruskin Glass Glass Centre in Amblecote as part of last month’s International Festival of Glass, is open daily from 10am to 5pm until Sunday September 28.

And on Saturday September 27, the Wollaston Road arts venue is laying on a late night opening of the exhibition from 6pm to 9pm - which will coincide with the announcement of the People’s Prize.

There will be jazz music laid on throughout the event - and visitors will be able to vote up until 7.30pm for their favourite exhibition piece.

The artist with the most votes will win the People’s Prize - which will be presented at 8pm.

He or she will win professional support and promotional materials donated by competition sponsors Craftsman craft&design magazine and Warm Glass.
