HISTORY fans can find out more about the role of women in the Black Country’s canal-based industries at a talk in Stourbridge this week.
Jenny Maxwell will be presenting the talk entitled ‘A woman’s place is at the tiller’ at Stourbridge Library on Friday September 26.
It starts at 2.30pm in the Wollaston room.
Admission is £1 per person and refreshments will be served.
