GLASS engravers will be demonstrating their sparkling skills at Wordsley’s Red House Glass Cone in a series of free weekend showcases.
Visitors to the landmark museum in Camp Hill will be able to see expert artists demonstrating their talents every weekend until Sunday October 5.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, Dudley’s cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “The demonstrations follow on from the very successful International Festival of Glass which was held in and around Stourbridge at the end of the summer.
“Visitors will be able to chat to glass engravers as they work and see just what level of skill is involved to create beautiful pieces of glass.”
Glass artist Chris Ainsley will be demonstrating on Saturday September 27 and Nancy Sutcliffe - on Sunday September 28.
Sue Burne will be the featured artist on Saturday October 4 and Margaret Foster on Sunday October 5.
No booking is necessary.
The cone is open from 10m to 4pm. Admission is free.
