A STOURBRIDGE hairdressers has proved it is a cut above the rest after they scooped an award at a prestigious awards ceremony.
Ikasu Hair, on the Norton Road, opened on September 1 last year and decided this year to enter the British Hairdressing Business Awards.
They entered in two categories Salon design and Independent Salon and Business Newcomer.
On Monday September 8, the team from Ikasu travelled down to London, to attend the Hairdressing Journal Awards, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
The team were over the moon to be presented as the winners of Salon Design 2008.
Creative director and proprietor, Kerry Moseley from Halesowen said: “We were absolutely delighted to have won and be presented with such an award for the recognition of all our hard work.
“This is just the beginning and has given all of us even more incentive to ensure that we are nominated in next year’s awards too.”
