A DELIVERY driver was the victim of a possible road rage attack in Belbroughton during a routine layby stop.
The man in his 40s, was driving from Hagley towards the M5 and pulled over to do his paperwork.
He noticed a black car, similar to a Honda Prelude, pull up behind him.
Two Asian men got out of the vehicle, went up to the victim’s vehicle and accused him of damaging their mirror.
The first man then punched the victim to the face, causing a small cut to his eyebrow, a lump under the eye and bruising to the top of his nose.
The other man was swinging nunchucks (a martial arts weapon) around.
The victim managed to punch first man, knocking him to the floor who got up and both men returned to their car and drove off.
The first man, who was driving, is described 5ft 8in, slim, aged about 20, with a thin goatie beard, and short dark hair.
He was wearing a black fleece jacket with the word Bench on the back collar and dark jeans.
The second man was 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins, plumper than the first man, aged about 19, clean shaven, with short spiky dark hair and wearing a black/grey tracksuit.
The vehicle’s registration plate began with an R and ended in TU or TV. It had a yellow symbol hanging from rear view mirror.
The incident happened on the A491 at about 2.50pm on Tuesday September 23.
