BLACK Country families interested in adoption can find out more at informal information evenings in the region.
Adoption in the Black Country is holding two drop-in events for anyone who would like to find out more about adoption.
The events, in connection with National Adoption Week, are being held at the Quality Hotel, Penn Road, Wolverhampton on Thursday November 6 and at Dudley College, Dudley Road, Brierley Hill, on Thursday November 13.
Both events will run from 5pm to 8pm.
The evenings are an opportunity for potential adopters to watch a short film made by adoptive families about their experiences.
Families also have the chance to have a confidential chat with members of the adoption team.
No appointment is necessary and families are welcome to drop in any time during the course of the evening.
National Adoption Week starts on Monday November 10 and is an annual campaign run by the British Association for Adoption and Fostering.
For more information about the information evening or adoption in general please go to www.adoptionblackcountry.co.uk or call 0800 0730 597.
