A MAN believed to be in his 80s has been airlifted to hospital after a two-car collision in Hagley.
The crash happened at around 4.30pm yesterday (Friday) at the junction Thicknell Lane and Worcester Road.
The elderly man suffered suspected fractured ribs and was flown by air ambulance to Selly Oak hospital in Birmingham.
The driver of the other car, a man in his 40s, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut free.
He was taken by land ambulance to Russells Hall hospital with chest pain; his injuries were not thought to be serious.
