THE September meeting of the West Midland Fuchsia Society was held on Thursday September 11 at the Pensnett & Bromley Services Memorial Club, Bradley Street, Pensnett.
The evening was opened by the secretary Mr A Taylor.
The evening was a change from the fuchsias which turned out to be a very entertaining evening with Mr David Tideswell from Utoxeter, who not only gave an excellent talk and slide show on how to feed and encourage birds into your garden but had members roaring with laughter with his great sense of humour. He was such a hit with the members that he has been booked to come along on Thursday December 11 for our social evening to give a talk on Robins.
The speaker for the next meeting on Thursday October 9 will be Dr S Reynolds from Bridgenorth, talking on pests/disorders, which promises to be another good evening.
All are welcome to meetings with free admittance.
