CLENT History Society is hosting an action-packed talk on ‘The First World War - Life in the Trenches’ being presented by a Worcester re-enactment group later this month.
Paul Harding and Helen Lee from Discover History - part of the Worcester Re-Enactors group who bring history to life - will be staging the event at Clent Parish Hall, Church Avenue, on Wednesday October 29, starting at 8pm.
The talk, which follows the groups annual general meeting, will see Paul taking on the role of an ordinary soldier whose routine of boot-cleaning and badge-shining had to be maintained, despite the hardships and horrors going on around him.
Admission to the event is £1.50 and includes refreshments.
New visitors are welcome.
