OLD Halesonians Colts returned to their exciting best to overcome a tough and talented Bromsgrove outfit at Wassell Grove.
The hosts opened the scoring following some heavy pressure when Tom Moorhouse crossed the try-line despite the attention of three defenders to score out wide.
The conversion was narrowly missed.
The game was going from end to end but there was no further scoring before half-time.
The second half continued in much the same way and extended their lead thanks to a Andy Tromans penalty.
Bromsgrove replied with some vigorous rugby to score a good converted try.
Moorhouse scored the second of his three tries after collecting the ball following a heavy tackle.
Tromans made no mistake with the conversion.
Moorhouse scored his hat-trick try following a sublime break from Alex Herbert who offloaded to Matt Jenkins before releasing the man of the match.
The try was converted by Andy Holloway.
