KINVER presenter/actress Sunita Shroff will be back on TV screens in a new property swap show - starting next week.
The programme called House Swap sees the property negotiator turned daytime TV darling joining forces with popular BBC property show presenter Kristian Digby (To Buy or Not To Buy) to help find families a perfect, and potentially permanent, home swap deal.
Seen on Monday (June 8) playing a doctor in Coronation Street, Sunita has been switching between presenting and acting roles for the last few years.
Since making her name on ITV’s House in the Country she has gone on to appear in Moving Day, Get a New Life, Homes & Property - plus a host of short films, TV commercials and TV dramas.
And now she is taking on the role of House Swap’s negotiator - helping downsizers and those wanting to move on up to strike a deal to suit both parties.
She said: “House swapping is just becoming so popular - it’s the next big thing.
“It’s really positive as a lot of people out there are struggling to get on the property ladder - and the main objective of this show is to get homeowners moving.
“Everyone that’s been involved has loved the experience.
“And I’ve loved working with Kristian, he’s very funny - super-talented and a joy to work with.”
Made by London-based Lion TV - the team behind the popular Homes Under The Hammer series; House Swap starts on BBC1 on Monday June 15.
The first episode will see Kristian and Sunita trying to find a new home for Stephanie and Nick Lewin who are looking to swap their enormous 12-bedroom grade 2 listed house in Norfolk for a smaller more manageable property.
The 20-episode series is then set to run for a month, airing every weekday at 11am.
